Here is a list of a few of the theatrical ideas/topics that are exciting me, I'm enjoying learning about, or am interested in exploring soon! (almost everything in theatre excites me, so I selected just a few for now)

What am I currently choreographing for fun?

I try to nourish my creative mind by regularly choreographing to songs I love with no timeline, no plans on what to do with it, and no rules. Right now, I am loving tapping to rock music! Head over to the media page to catch a snippet!

Collaborating with projection artists in theatre

I've seen stunning collaborations between projection artists and concert dance choreographers where the choreography affects the projection and vise versa. I'm interested to see more of how this could be applied to the storytelling of live theatre.

Co-Choreographing with opposite styles

I would love to co-choreograph with someone whose style is the polar opposite of mine! A positive collaborative dynamic between vastly different movers could create some amazing discoveries.

SDCF Podcasts

I've started listening to every podcast available from the Stage Directors and Choreographers Foundation (supported by the SDC). I really love the podcasts that get into the nitty gritty details of how different artists create theatre. Small differences in how we choose to approach something can cause a ripple effect in the art we make. My most recent favorite was the "SDCF Panel: Demystifying Pre-Production - Podcast Replay" with Knud Adams, Maija Garcia, and Delicia Turner Sonnenberg.
